Emergency Call Station – Call Handling


The MMI section of the emergency call station is the operator interface, and enables emergency call handling.
It provides
 

Emergency call handling:

• Call identification and signalling on a map screen background
• Full duplex audio communication call connection
• Multiple call and connection management
• Voice over IP operator communications
• Unlimited number of handled calls
• TCP/IP network multi-station multi-user management
• In-call dynamic sound level adjustment
• Call response according to priority level dynamically set by the operations manager (from 1 to 4 levels)
 

Internal and external call transfer including switching to three-person conference call,
Foreign language vocal assistance (free or assisted search function), Call recording and playback (in compliance with CNIL French Data Protection regulations),


• Call recording (integrated export function)
• Real-time listening to a live conversation
• Recorded conversation playback

Transfer security via the operated network.

• Call forwarding to a dedicated telephone in case of IP network unavailability.

Computerised log

• Assisted log input function
• Automation and dynamic input assistance
• External telephone call from the log

Security

 Autonomous operation without central database with automatic or manual switch to back-up system.

General system management

• Icons and desktop wallpaper can be customised by the system administrator - 100% customisable system
• Local agency management (police, security, emergency, breakdown services) with geographical locations and availability status
• Time-stamped event logging (calls, failures, etc. with integrated export function)
• Operator log-ins and associated profiles can be set up and configured
• Password-managed operational security

System technical monitoring

• ECN Networks can be fully configured and maintained
• ECN tests (emergency call points, aerials and network)
• System component monitoring with integrated alarms (PIRAU, MMI, gateways, telephones)
